About Girls Leadership Collaborative
Who We Are and What We Do
GLC is a leadership development organization that empowers girls, equips educators, and supports parents as they guide their girls to become agents of change in their communities. We work to address gender parity across all sectors and all levels of leadership.
How We Achieve Our Work
We use experiential learning to bring research to life in fun and meaningful ways. Engaging facilitators model critical mindsets & competencies, lead 9-12 minute micro-sessions of relevant content around leadership, self-awareness, team dynamics, group formation theory, and so much more in a safe and supportive environment.
Where We Work
We offer programs on-site at schools, community centers, or wherever our emerging leaders might convene safely in Rhode Island. We also offer individualized and customizable programs, workshops, and service-learning experiences at your company, or facility. Programs can be uniquely designed for one school, or open to emerging leaders in the surrounding area.
Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders
GLC equips tomorrow’s leaders with skills, mindsets, network, and experiences necessary to work on challenges that matter. Effective and meaningful leadership development requires practice, reflection, communication, feedback, adapting, and more practice.
